Hollywood star Brad Pitt is reportedly facing a surprising legal battle after a Malibu-based men’s skincare company known for its controversial “penis cream” product filed a trademark lawsuit against his beauty brand.

According to multiple reports, the company, Beau D., claims that Pitt’s skincare line, Beau Domaine, uses a name and branding that are too similar to its own, potentially causing confusion among consumers. The lawsuit alleges trademark infringement, unfair competition, and false designation of origin under California law.

Beau D., founded in 2020 by former fashion editor Brandon Palas, became known for its luxury men’s grooming products, including a cream marketed for intimate skincare. The company argues that Pitt’s brand rebranding from “Le Domaine” to “Beau Domaine” created a direct conflict with its existing identity. After several unsuccessful attempts to resolve the issue privately, Beau D. decided to take legal action.

The company is reportedly seeking more than $75,000 in damages and wants Pitt’s skincare business to stop using the Beau Domaine name altogether. Palas has stated that the lawsuit is intended to protect independent brands from being overshadowed by celebrity-backed businesses with greater financial power and global recognition.

Pitt launched his skincare venture in 2022 in partnership with the French Perrin family, incorporating ingredients derived from grapes grown at Château Miraval, the winery he famously co-owns in France. The luxury skincare line has since expanded internationally and targets the premium beauty market.

Legal experts quoted in U.S. media have suggested that trademark disputes involving similar brand names can be difficult to win, especially when companies operate in overlapping industries. However, the case has already attracted widespread attention due to the unusual nature of Beau D.’s flagship product and the involvement of one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.

Representatives for Pitt have not publicly commented on the lawsuit. As the legal dispute moves forward, the case is expected to draw significant interest from both the entertainment and business worlds.
