Florida Content Creator Accused of Hiding Millions From the IRS

A Florida-based content creator known online as Natalie Monroe is facing serious legal trouble after federal prosecutors accused her of failing to report millions of dollars in income earned through subscription-based content platforms.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Kylie Leia Perez allegedly earned approximately $5.4 million between 2019 and 2023 through subscriptions, tips, and pay-per-view content. Authorities claim that despite the massive earnings, she failed to properly report a substantial portion of her income to the Internal Revenue Service.

Federal investigators say Perez earned more than $2.1 million in 2021 alone, making it one of her most profitable years. Prosecutors allege that the unreported income resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid federal taxes.

The case has quickly gained attention online, with many social media users expressing shock at the amount of money involved. Others pointed out that federal authorities have increasingly targeted tax-related offenses involving influencers, content creators, and online entrepreneurs in recent years.

Legal experts note that tax evasion and filing false tax returns can carry significant penalties if proven in court. However, the allegations remain accusations, and Perez is entitled to defend herself through the legal process.

The case serves as a reminder that as online creators generate larger incomes, federal agencies are paying closer attention to tax compliance in the rapidly growing creator economy.
