She revealed that his health has taken a critical turn, with doctors treating a combination of serious illnesses including meningitis, MRSA pneumonia, and kidney failure that requires ongoing dialysis.
In a recent update, Shawna shared that Samuel is now also suffering from encephalopathy a condition that affects brain function and added that his brain tissue is reportedly deteriorating as medical teams continue to fight for his life.
Due to his weakened immune system, he is being treated in a negative-pressure isolation room designed to prevent further infections.
As his legal power of attorney, Shawna says she is now facing extremely difficult decisions regarding his long-term quality of life, while still holding onto hope for a possible recovery.
